Beach Abort Test 1.

I have called this capsule test Beach Abort test one, but there were other tests carried out with 1/3rd sized models to test nozzle sizes and numbers.

This test was carried out with the true boilerplate in that it was mainly mild steel and formed at the Norfolk navel shipyard

This capsule was subsequently used for the LJ1A shot.

The flight test was carried out on the 22 July 1959.
